Erik Anton Berg Chisels

Chisels made by Erik Anton Berg of Eskilstuna, Sweden, are highly prized by knowledgeable woodworkers. They are known to hold an edge longer, and are widely considered a better chisel than any modern western chisel. Chisels by Erik Anton Berg are excellent paring chisels, and particularly shine at paring dovetails or other delicate work.

These classic chisels are no longer made, so if you want an EA Berg chisel, you need to look for a good quality second-hand vintage one. eBay is a great source for finding vintage EA Berg chisels.
